John Helliwell, the saxophone player in Supertramp, makes a return visit to  Northwich, having recently return from a Supertramp tour of Canada and France.

After touring with the bands of Jimmy Ruffin, Arthur Conley and Johnny Johnson in England, and also a spell in Germany with Pete Lancaster playing mostly US air bases, he got a call from Dougie Thomson in 1973, who had joined Supertramp, asking him to come and play with them. He was intrigued with, and excited by the music, and stuck around (for 38 years so far). The band reformed in 2010, and have recently toured Canada and France.

Now he is playing music based on his many inspirations, including jazz, funk, blues, soul and rock, with some of his favourite musicians.

"Creme Anglaise" is:-
John Helliwell - Saxophones
Mike Walker - Guitar
Geth Griffith - Bass Guitar.
John Ellis - Piano
Steve Gilbert - Drums
