A full day of art activities based around a theme.
Workshops run by Andy Leigh.
Workshops run from 10.00am - 3.00pm.
Suitable for 8 years and over.
All materials are supplied.
Bring a packed lunch, and wear suitable clothes.

Wednesday 30 July
Learn how to Draw Cartoons and Caricatures, and make your own Comic Book to take home.
Wednesday 6 August
Lots of activities all based around the theme of Time, including Make Your Own Clock (quartz clock movement included).
Friday 8 August
Learn about Roman Pottery, and the Roman’s who lived here on Castle. Includes having a go at using a Potter’s Wheel, and take home a booklet on Roman Northwich.
Wednesday 13 August
Have a go at lots of different Printing Techniques, including Press Print and Potato Printing.
Friday 15 August
Learn about traditional Canal Boat Decorations and decorate your own wooden spoon and flower pot. Also learn about the lives of the Bargemen who attended the nearby Church.
Wednesday 27 August
Make a large 3D Relief Picture based on the Holy Trinity Church, plus lots of other arts activities.

Coming of Age Exhibition

Loan Objects Wanted for Museum Exhibition

In September 2014, a new exhibition looking at Coming of Age in the 1950s and 60s will open at Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse, Northwich.

They are looking for objects on the themes of growing up, going out, first jobs and loves, leaving home, music, fashion and greater freedoms for women.
